No injuries were reported in a fire at at residence Wednesday morning in La Crosse traced to having materials stored too close to an electrical heater.
La Crosse home damaged in early morning fire

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - No one is hurt in an early morning fire at a southside La Crosse home Wednesday morning.
Battalion Chief David Snow said the La Crosse Fire Department was called to 210 22nd St. South at 4:38 a.m. for the fire.
Heavy smoke was coming from the front and side of the home as firefighters arrived on the scene.
Crews put out the fire which was found in both the basement and first floor of the home.
Chief Snow said the home had moderate fire and heavy smoke damage.
