Scott Stevens named Union City’s new Fire Chief By Jim Measel

UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) â The Village of Union City has announced the hiring of Scott Stevens as the next Union City Fire Department Chief.
Stevens has been serving as the Assistant Fire Chief in Union City and will take over the department on Saturday.
He will become just the fourth Union City Fire Chief in nearly 100 years.
Stevens joins Art Merchant, Bob Merchant and retiring Chief David Hughes as the people who have been in charge of the fire department since 1928.
He started with the Union City Fire Department in 1995 and left for a few years in the early 2000âs before returning again.
