At Least Two Cases On Northwest Angle #33

The Northwest Angle #33 First Nation says it’s been notified of two cases of COVID-19. The band says there is potential of a third probable case in community as well. Leadership in the community has started the process and is working with the Kenora Chiefs Advisory and the Kenora Health Access Center. COVID testing teams will be heading into Angle Inlet on Sunday to conduct testing with membership, and arrangements are being made to have teams brought into Dog Paw as well as soon as possible. The band says it is working closely with partner organizations to arrange for any measures that need to be taking place at this time.
