• Deputy Chief Constable Paul Mills who leads equality, diversity and inclusion for Wiltshire Police WILTSHIRE Police have today launched a new recruitment drive for police officers. They are seeking to diversify the force with the aim of increasing the number of police officers who are female or from a Black, Asian or minority ethnic background. Applications open at 9am today and will close at 400 applicants for this recruitment round. Wiltshire now has 1,101 police officers, the highest number of serving officers in six years. A further 120 student officers are set to start training over the next 12 months.
