Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 86 points, or 0.47 per cent, lower at 18,134.50, hinting at a negative start for the domestic market on Wednesday.
BSE Sensex added 110.6 points, or 0.19 per cent, to trade at 57,724.32, while NSE's Nifty50 gained 37.45 points, or 0.22 per cent, to 16,989.15 at 9.20 am.

As of 1:55, Sensex is trading down 530 points or 0.9% to 59,820 points, whereas Nifty dropped 144 points or 0.9 % to 17,842 points, and banking gauge Nifty Bank sank almost 600 points or 1.4% to 42,039 points
