The Republican and Sunday Republican took home five first-place prizes and 15 other awards in writing, photography and newspaper design at this year’s New England Newspaper & Press Association’s Better Newspaper Competition, including top honors for general excellence among newspapers with circulations over 15,000 subscribers.
