A week-long battle with illness would not step Chico High's Tej Sidhu from facing off against Pleasant Valley's Cody Cheim in a rematch of the 2023 master's bout at Wednesday's Almond Dual.
After day one of the 10th annual Joe Rios Memorial wrestling tournament Friday, Folsom led with 119.5 points, with Spanish Springs second with 111 points, Chico third with 95.5 points, Durham fourth with 94.5 points and Granada fifth with 90 points. Pleasant Valley was 29th with 41 points.
