Dalton United Methodist Church will host a chicken barbecue on Saturday, Aug. 19, to benefit the Dalton Fire Department and the church’s general fund.

Hinsdale Lions Club will be serving a takeout chicken barbecue dinner with pickup from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday Sept. 10. Reservations are required by Sept. 7.
