The Kane County Genealogical Society and Batavia Public Library will host the webinar Q&A Genealogy: Pandemic 1918! Fighting Influenza During the Great War from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 22, on Zoom.
More than 30 percent of Americans were estimated to have contracted influenza in 1918 and millions of people lost their lives.
