They also recently reflected upon some of the challenges they’ve encountered and overcome on their way to completing their educations within the Granville Schools system.
Williams to study psychology
Carys Williams next stop will be at Wittenberg University, where she plans to study psychology.
Williams applied to a number of Ohio institutions, was accepted to all of them, but Wittenberg won her heart. “My mom is a Lutheran pastor, and they used to host a lot of gatherings for pastors there. That’s what first got it on my radar. I like the campus and it s close enough to home that I’m happy with it. They just blew me away with how welcoming they were.”

The area served as a launchpad for mammoth chains like sweetgreen and Five Guys, while also nurturing smaller businesses like BGR and Elevation Burger that can now be found in cities big and small, as well as in airport terminals and even on the campus quad. Some of these restaurants call DC a microcosm of the United States itself, making it the perfect place to test out a new concept, while others found that the workaholic nature of residents within the nation s capital put their concept to the test and helped them expand to other cities across the country.
