Ford is rolling out a new 14-day /1,000-mile money-back guarantee on used vehicles to offer consumers greater peace of mind and strengthen its dealerships as used vehicle sellers.
Ford made $17.9 billion last year despite being plagued by semiconductor shortages that led to repeated shutdowns at the Chicago Assembly Plant and Chicago Stamping Plant.
The Dearborn, Mich.-based automaker, which runs the Chicago Assembly Plant in Hegewisch and the Chicago Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights, announced it had received 200,000 preorders for its F-150 Lightning.
