Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], April 8 (ANI): Retired Brigadier Govind Singh Sisodia on Thursday said there was a lack of contingency plan in Chhattisgarh s Bijapur Naxal operation.
Sisodia was the commander of Operation Black Tornado during 26/11 Mumbai attacks. There was a lack of contingency plan in Bijapur s Naxal operation, Sisodia said. All the commanders should read the modus operandi of the Vietnam operation and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) operations, the Brigadier added.
He further said that there is a lot of similarities in the operations of Naxalites and those of LTTE, which LTTE and the people of Vietnam used to do.

Amit Shah to visit Chhattisgarh s Bijapur Naxal attack site, meet injured jawans ANI | Updated: Apr 05, 2021 09:10 IST
Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], April 5 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah will on Monday visit the site where Naxals attacked security personnel at the Sukma-Bijapur border in Chhattisgarh.
Shah will also meet the injured jawans at the hospital.
At least 22 security personal have lost their lives in Chhattisgarh s Bijapur Naxal attack on Saturday. 22 security personnel have lost their lives in the Naxal attack at Sukma-Bijapur in Chhattisgarh, said Bijapur Superintendent of Police, Kamalochan Kashyap.
Around 31 sustained injuries in the encounter in Bijapur on Saturday, Chhattisgarh Police said.
