The National 4-H Conference Center at 7100 Connecticut Ave. in Chevy Chase is up for sale, according to a posting from the commercial real estate company CBRE.
The 12.28-acre site is one of the largest residential redevelopment properties in Chevy Chase, according to the posting. No price is listed.
The conference center hosts meetings and events, and provides overnight accommodations in guest rooms, according to the website.
The building was constructed in 1893 as the Chevy Chase Inn before it became a women’s college in 1903 for the next 50 years, according to the description of the posting. Since then, the building has been owned by the National 4-H Council, a youth development organization.
