ONE of Britain s biggest builders has embarked on the next stage of its plan to provide 85 homes on a former market garden site in a Hampshire village. Taylor Wimpey UK Ltd is seeking consent to redevelop almost seven acres of land at Brook Lane, Warsash - one of the several sites in the area that could be used for housing. An outline application has already been approved by Fareham Borough Council. Now Taylor Wimpey has submitted a more detailed proposal, which will also have to be given the green light before work can start.
