Winter storm that could impact your thanksgiving travel plans. Youre looking at this part of our region that will be under a winter storm watch tomorrow. That storm could bring snow to some of our neighborhoods. Tom kierein is tracking exactly what we can expect. Good morning, tom. Good morning. If you have the option to leave for your thanksgiving holiday today, that would be the wise move. Because we do have a large area under a winter storm watch. And that is just to the west of the metro area. And the impact on this system is it does come through the metro area and points east. It will be minimal with rain changing to wet snow. Some of the roads may be wet and slushy near washington and the immediate metro area. Just accumulations on grass. Over to our west, thats where its going to be almost all snow. Accumulations likely and roads will likely be slippery. Thats in the Shenandoah Valley, the mountains of western maryland and into West Virginia. Right now a mild morning in the 50s
