January 08, 2021 09:04AM By Mariah Melendez, Cheshire Herald staff CHESHIRE — A Dec. 23 house fire, between Ives Row and Peck Lane, left one family without a home for Christmas. Enter local residents, who have begun to rally around the family and raise funds to support them during this difficult time. The fire extended through multiple floors of the home.  Residents who heard about the fire immediately rushed to help by arranging a drop-off of essential items at the home of local resident Kathleen Perez, who helped spearhead the effort.
