A 34-year-old Greenville woman was arrested on a drug charge after the Pitt County Sheriffâs Office stopped her car and found heroin, the agency reported.
Detectives with the Special Operations Unit initiated the stop Thursday on B Stokes Road, a news release said. Amanda Sue Stepp was found to be in possession of heroin.
Stepp was charged with trafficking heroin, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was jailed in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.
