Aviva UK savings and retirement boss Lindsey Rix, who oversaw the firm’s advice business, has left the company after almost a year and a half at the helm.
Having previously held the role of managing director for the arm of the business from 2017 to 2019, she moved up to the chief executive position at the start of 2020.
She is thought to be taking an external role.
Her departure has paved the way for Rob Barker’s appointment as managing director of Aviva UK savings and retirement with immediate effect.
Money Marketing understands the chief executive role will be replaced by the managing director position for this strand of the business.
