After years of delays, Gov. Hochul announced a new Brooks-TLC Hospital will be built in Fredonia and the $74 million previously promised by the state will support the project.
It's been almost seven years since Brooks Memorial Hospital was awarded money from New York State for a new campus, and healthcare workers are calling on the state to take action.
The roughly $71 million microhospital, which would be built in Fredonia, would be covered by grants long ago awarded by the state, though those funds have yet to be released.
