Osceola County has been one of the most Democratic counties in the entire state, routinely backing its party’s candidates for president and governor. In 2022, it was won by Republican Ron DeSantis.
The proposal includes a notice of rights, bans discrimination based on source of income, and requires written notices for late fees and a 60-day notice for rent increases over 5%. And landlords would have to disclose prior flooding.
