A TEAM of funeral directors have managed to raise more than £2,000 for charity after smashing a gruelling 10km race. Thirteen colleagues working for funeral directors Daniel Robinson and Sons were able to raise the cash for Isabel Hospice. The team was made up of employees from six branches of the business. Terry Wright and Sandy Maloy were representing the Halstead branch and took part with Louise Griffiths and Penny Ward from the Braintree branch. The team raised the cash after taking part in the Ware 10K. Overall, the team have raised a whopping £2,059 so far to support the Isabel Hospice charity in east Herts.
