According to Bursch, if raffle-ticket purchasers wear a fruit-themed outfit, they will receive an additional raffle ticket for free. Vendors during the Strawberry Festival will each get a raffle ticket which gives them a chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate, said Bursch. If a vendor dresses up and/or decorates their booth with a fruit theme, they will get an additional raffle ticket.
Virginia Family Nutrition Program will be present doing a BERRY fun kids craft during the market.

PETERSBURG, Va. A mobile produce market in Petersburg featuring produce from Virginia farms is giving the community access to fresh fruits and vegetables.
POP Market, which stands for Petersburg Offers Produce, already has a loyal following. Every Friday that they pop up here, I m first customer here or try to be anyway, said Marquel Bugg, a frequent market shopper. The produce is so fresh.
Little Creek Kung Fu was present giving away free fitness equipment and apparel to Petersburg residents while Markus Copeland with Self Dreams led group exercises.
I had fun watching Fairytale Fiberworks owner Megan Morris grooming her English Angora rabbit Zeus. Morris will spin the fur into yarn to use in making items such as hats, gloves, and shawls.
Each Saturday, visitors can purchase breakfast and lunch items from market vendors and listen to live music while they dine.
Flutist Iris Schwartz of Colonial Heights was present sharing her talents. I witnessed a canine listening intently to Schwartz while she played the tune Going Home .

PETERSBURG - Despite obstacles caused by COVID, the River Street Market has kept a strong presence in Old Towne. The Market Manager Cheryl Bursch and her team are committed to serving the community’s food needs now more than ever.
River Street Market [RSM] stayed open year-round 2020-2021 for the first time. We have been happy to be there for our community most every Saturday with fresh produce, meats, honey, eggs, and more, said Bursch.
Weather permitting, the next three Saturdays will wrap up RSM s Winter Market which began on January 9.
