WADESBORO The Anson County Sheriff deputies arrested suspect days following a breaking and entering report on Feb. 5. The suspect, 20, was arrested on Feb. 11.
Deputies responded to the house off of Hanna Road, after the alarm system went off. Upon arrival, the back door was left wide open and in the back bedroom, a window was smashed in with a rock.
The suspect stole a SKS semi-automatic weapon. He was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, larceny of a fire arm, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon. He is on a $40,000 secured bond and his trial date is set for Feb. 22.
