EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - Hours after a storm system moved through the Deep East Texas area, thousands of people are dealing with power outages.
According to the outage map on the Oncor website, the lion’s share of the company’s power outages is in Angelina and Nacogdoches counties, which had 2,190 and 3,365 outages, respectively. As of 6:00 a.m. Monday, Oncor’s outages also include 3 in Anderson County; 4 in Houston County; and 17 in Cherokee County.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Crews are in the process of restoring power to thousands of customers all over Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana after a strong storm system blew through the area Friday night.
The Southwestern Electric Power Company took a hard hit.
âSevere storms moved through the Ark-La-Texas late Friday, causing extensive damage â including downed poles and lines to SWEPCOâs electric system and leaving approximately 19,300 customers without power,â a press release stated. âAt 10:30 a.m. Saturday, approximately 9.500 customers were without power, including 1,500 in Louisiana, 4,700 in Arkansas, and 3,400 in Texas.â
