Barns were lifted from the ground and tree branches scattered the roads.
Cheri Chapin, the owner of Chapin Family Farms in Remus, said she’s devastated by the destruction the tornado has caused.
She said overall they lost one cow in the storm and the rest are expected to be ok.
“We had a vet crew come out from Lakeview Veterinary Services in Lakeview and they worked on animals until eleven o’clock last night,” she said. “Right now, the cattle are safe. Now, it’s just a question of cleaning up, keeping everyone safe, away from any power lines and debris.”
