MORE than a dozen sheep have been killed, with many others badly wounded, in East Bergholt. A total of 16 sheep were found dead on a field or in the river on Whitehorse Marsh, at the bottom of Dazeley’s Lane, this morning. A further 20 sheep were visibly injured from the attack which happened during the weekend. Rupert Eley, the landowner, said it was devastating so many sheep had died and that others were hobbling around with their ears bitten off. “It’s been happening locally - and in my opinion I think it’s the same two dogs killing sheep,” he said.
