CSL, Windsor Salt join forces to build eco-friendly self-unloader February 15, 2021, by Naida Hakirevic Canadian shipping company Canada Steam Ship Lines (CSL) and compatriot salt manufacturer K+S Windsor Salt Ltd. (Windsor Salt) have entered into a strategic partnership to build a new, eco-friendly self-unloading ship. The 26,000 dwt newbuild is intended for operation in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Great Lakes region. The keel laying ceremony for the self-unloader was held at Chengxi Shipyard in Jiangyin, China, on 29 January 2021.
