SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): A man who was charged with attempted murder in December 2022 has had the charge amended to that of murder after the alleged victim died.
The Sabah International Coffee Festival (SICF) is making a return for the fifth time this year with more activities awaiting coffee lovers from Sept 26 to Oct 2 at Suria Sabah Shopping Mall.
Formerly dubbed the “Borneo Coffee Festival” over three days, this time the programme will run for one week, due to an encouraging response from the last festival in 2019, which saw some 20,000 visitors

JOHOR BARU: An elderly couple were relieved when they heard that their names were up for vaccination but became worried and anxious as the date drew closer as they did not know how to get to their vaccination centre.
To make matters worse, retired staff nurse Helen Looi Ah Mooi, 78, and her husband Ong Cheng Hock, 82, who both registered on the same day, were given different vaccination dates and venues.
“We were totally lost. We are living on our own and our children are away in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Australia.
