ballot. there s been some talk of hay, maybe democrats, maybe independent voters in wyoming might come into that republican primary and give cheney a boost? look at the math she is up against here. this is as of today, with the party registration figures look like in wyoming. let s show you january 1st. because it is a thing that there are some democrats in wyoming that i ve chosen to re-register as republicans to back liz cheney, but this is what it looks like. at the start of the year there were 45,000 registered democrats, now there s 36,000. now if you just said, and this would be purely for the sake of argument, that all of those democrats registered as republicans to back cheney, she s getting an extra nine or 10,000 votes out of that. in a republican universe, it s got more than 200,000 registered members, and we look at the polling, she is getting clobbered among republican voters, registered republican voters by hageman. so, this is the kind of thing
had two polls come out in the final months here. both of them have put hageman ahead by more than 20 points. in this race, you just look at the political sort of breakdown of wyoming. 19 of those states two dozen counties didn t just vote for trump against joe biden they gave trump more than 70% of the vote, this is probably the most republican pro trump state in america. that s where liz cheney is trying to make the stand, and to give you a chance of wet she s up against besides everything i just mentioned. one of the things for campaign and her supporters are hoping for here is the way that the primary is gonna work tonight, is right up until today, anyone could choose to vote in this republican primary. you go to the polls today, and you say, you know at? i m registering as a republican. okay, get a republican primary ballot. there s been some talk of hay, maybe democrats, maybe independent voters in wyoming might come into that republican primary and give cheney a boost? look at th
