syria. there was progress of sorts and the u.n security council passed a resolution under chapter 7 that would authorize that would authorize the use of force as well as economic sanctions that would demand that syria honor its pledge to get rid of the chemical weapons arsonal. there was some negative news that was syria a week ago declared what the chemical weapons stockpile was. and the declaration acknowledged the sites and there is a question of are they playing a game? these regimes will make what appear to be concessions on some sticking point to avoid negative consequences. you look at it carefully and it turns out the concession is full of all kinds of loopholes and short comings. they are not doing what they pledge to do and what they are under u.n warning to do. that s where we are at an
