Fired Grambling State volleyball coach Chelsey Lucas says she was just following orders from the athletic director when she cut the entire team's players.
Former Grambling head volleyball coach Chelsey Lucas is speaking out since her July 5 firing, claiming that she was actually set up by the team themselves.
The school announced earlier in the week the termination of Chelsey Lucas, who was hired back in February. Grambling State officials say the firing is the result of an internal investigation within the volleyball program.
