Rachel McAdams and 12-year-old Abby Ryder Fortson have been cast to star in Lionsgate’s adaptation of the classic Judy Blume novel “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret.”
Ryder Fortson, who is best known as Paul Rudd’s daughter in the “Ant-Man” movies, will play the title character Margaret Simon. McAdams will play Margaret’s mother, Barbara.

Lionsgate has acquired a comedy script co-written by “2 Broke Girls” star Beth Behrs called “Wine and Crime” about a group of wine-drinking friends caught up in their own true-crime investigation.
Behrs made her screenwriting debut with “Wine and Crime” and co-wrote the film with Cassie Daniels and Mark Bartosic. It’s the story about a group of baby boomer female friends and true-crime enthusiasts who bond over their shared love of Sancerre and serial killers when suddenly they find themselves thrust into the middle of their own true-crime investigation.

The 66-year-old actor and 59-year-old actress have signed up for the new biopic about the legendary NFL star.
Zachary Levi will play Warner in the flick with Ser Darius Blain, Adam Baldwin, Bruce McGill, Denny Vinson, Chance Kelly and Hayden Zaller have also boarded the cast of the movie.
The movie will chronicle Warner s journey from stocking shelves at a supermarket to becoming an NFL MVP, Super Bowl winner and a Hall of Fame quarterback. David Aaron Cohen, Jon Gunn and Jon Erwin have penned the screenplay based on interviews with Warner and his memoir All Things Possible: My Story of Faith, Football and the First Miracle Season .
