유럽축구연맹(UEFA는) 27일(한국시각) 터키 이스탄불에서 열린 2021/22 시즌 UEFA 챔피언스리그 조별리그 조 추첨과 시상식을 함께 진행했다. 올해의 선수상의 주인공은 조르지뉴였다.
조르지뉴는 첼시와 함께 UEFA 챔피언스리그에서 우승컵을 거머쥐었고 조국 이탈리아와 UEFA 유로 2020을 정복했다. 2021/22 시즌 개막을 알리는 UEFA 슈퍼컵까지 우승하며 세 개의 우승 트로피를 들어 올렸다.
