GLENDALE, Ariz. Former Dartmouth College men’s hockey captain Lee Stempniak joined the front office of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes on Monday as the club’s new hockey data strategist.
In his new role, the 2005 Dartmouth graduate will use his economics major and hockey experience to assist in the communication between the Coyotes’ analytics department and coaches, players and management.
This isn’t Stempniak’s first time with the franchise. Of his 14-season, 911-game NHL career, the right winger played 100 games with the Coyotes, tallying a 33-23 56 scoring line.
