The letter states: Based upon information obtained by EPCPH staff while conducting onsite visit to the vaccination clinic you held today at the Satellite Hotel at 411 Lakewood Cir, Colorado Springs, CO 80910 in El Paso county, we have significant concerns pertaining to the storage and handling of COVID-19 vaccine, documentation, of vaccine administration, and appropriate observation of individuals receiving vaccine.

(KRDO) The owner of Dr. Moma Health and Wellness Clinic held a press conference Monday. However, Sylvienash Moma, the owner and nurse practitioner, didn t speak at her press conference. Elizabeth Higgins, a spokesperson for Moma, initially applied to distribute vaccines after contracting COVID-19 herself. Higgins went on to say the clinic has an approved storage unit and all other requirements for distributing vaccines were met by Moma and her staff. According to Higgins, the state granted permission to allow Dr. Moma Health and Wellness Clinic is becoming a mass vaccination clinic.

The revaccination effort comes after the Colorado Department of Health and Environment investigated Dr. Moma Health and Wellness Clinic after the Joint Vaccine Task Force was alerted of irregularities in vaccine storage and handling. A total of 3,933 vaccines were adminstered at the location before the clinic was shut down last Friday. CDPHE confirms an additional 3,150 confiscated doses were also thrown out. Those figures show that more than 7,000 doses from Dr. Moma s were either invalid or wasted.

He was also found not guilty of either count of conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree and not guilty to aggravated robbery. Garcia-Bravo was found guilty of accessory to crime. After the verdicts were read, prosecutors asked for a retrial on the counts that jurors were unable to reach a verdict on. Earlier The trial against Garcia-Bravo, one of the men accused in the killings of two teenagers south of Colorado Springs in 2017, hit a snag Monday morning after jurors had spent more than a week deliberating.

(KRDO) A Pueblo County disabled veteran and his family are currently living in a construction zone and their life savings are gone. Steve and Wendy Dunn said they paid a contractor for work on their home, but it was never completed. Now, their case has the attention of the Pueblo County District Attorney. The couple moved to Avondale from Georgia for a better life and easier access to medicine for Wendy s epilepsy and lupus. The Dunn s said they hired Legion Construction in August 2020. They wrote a $37,800 check on August 4 and gave it to the owner of the company Lucas Smith to start building an addition that would provide a handicap room and bathroom for Steve, a disabled veteran.
