A landscape worker has suffered life-threatening injuries Saturday after being pinned by his equipment while doing snow removal in Chelmsford, officials said.
The worker, a 30-year-old Lowell man employed by Chelmsford-based Romero’s Landscaping, was removing snow at 2 Alpine Lane, according to a statement from Chelmsford police.
Someone working at 2 Alpine Lane, a multi-unit commercial building, called 911 around 8:50 a.m. after hearing a man yelling for help in an alley behind the building, according to the statement from Police Chief James M. Spinney.
There, police and firefighters found the worker, whose name was not released, pinned between one of the arms of a skid-steer loader and one of its tires, the statement said.
