Saturday night Chopped Local in Rochester, Minnesota, was a successful fundraiser for Rochester area restaurants hit hard by Covid-19. Planned and presented by Wear Local, it was probably the best smelling, most drool inducing fundraiser in Rochester history.
Raising over $10,000 (according to the Wear Local Facebook page), 4 master chefs and four local celebs paired up and made a three course meal, one course at a time, being judged by three major Rochester foodies.
Who Won Chopped Local?
In the end, the winning team was Chef Spicolli and Marcus Sherels!
The people choice award
(voted on Facebook during the live event) went to Bleu Duck Kitchen Chef Erik Kleven and Local Celebrity Megan Kennedy.
