Our Best Bites: Fifth Avenue Syndicate This week on Our Best Bites, we re headed over to Moline to find another place serving up some great food in the Quad Cities, and we landed at Fifth Avenue Syndicate. Fifth Avenue Syndicate is located at (you guessed it, Fifth Avenue) 1630 5th Avenue, Moline in the base of the Axis Hotel. Up first for us was the appetizer, steamed mussels, prepared in a white wine cream sauce, and served with crostini. Townsquare Media Then came one of our main courses, a French classic called bouillabaisse. Chef Brandon brought together shrimp, scallops, crab, whitefish, and mussels in a rich broth. Almost like a a hearty stew or soup, but with a variety of flavors.
