Bhopal, Jan 3 (PTI) Namibian cheetah Aasha has given birth to three cubs at the Kuno National Park (KNP) located in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh, a Union minister said on Wednesday.
The death of five adult cheetahs translocated from Africa to India and three cubs occurred due to natural causes and not on account of any “inherent unsuitability” of the Kuno National Park site, the Centre told the Supreme Court on Monday, ruling out at present the possibility of shifting the 15 surviving cheetahs and a lone cub to an alternate habitat | Latest News India
अफ्रीकी देश नामीबिया से लाए जा रहे आठ चीतों को लेकर विशेष विमान जोहान्सवर्ग से रवाना होगा और सुबह साढ़े छह से सात बजे सीधे जयपुर हवाई अड्डे पर उतरेगा। यहां से सेना का चिनूक हेलिकाप्टर चीतों से भरे आठ एवं दो खाली बाक्स (लकड़ी और लोहे से बने पिंजरे) लेकर रवाना होगा।
