The Mumbai police have registered a case against four transgender persons for assaulting a traffic constable, who stopped an auto-rickshaw they were travelling in for overcrowding. The incident took place on Tuesday in Ghatkopar suburban area.
Vinod Sonawane, a 38-year-old police constable, was on duty on Cheda Nagar Subway in Ghatkopar when he stopped the vehicle.
