Lake Effect Snow Warnings and
Winter Weather Advisory were allowed to expire Saturday night as the heaviest lake effect snow ended a few hours prior.
Reports of over 2 to almost 4 feet of snow have fallen in Boston, West Falls and Colden since Friday evening. These towns were directly underneath the lake effect bands for the longest time, though much of southern Erie County picked up snow totals from 5 to 15 inches. And in true lake effect fashion, much of Western New York not impacted by this snow band only saw flurries and nearly no accumulation.
