Cox. That is 14.28 percent of the population, Cox said, who was citing information provided by the the state Department of Public Health. Based on that data, to date, “over 90 percent of our population over 75 has been vaccinated,” Cox said. In his latest assessment of COVID-19’s impact on the town, Cox also presented information on local cases, which showed “East Hampton had 57 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the last two weeks, which leads to a two-week average daily positivity rate of 31.7 per 100,000 population. Cox also cited information provided by DPH in that data.
