Late last month, Gibsons artist Elizabeth Evans received the prestigious 'associate' designation from the Federation of Canadian Artists at a ceremony that took place at the Federation Gallery on Granville Island.
A vigorous live Art Battle raged at The Kube gallery on April 21, as painters Taka Sudo, Sadie Teuf, Ben Tour, Zac Harding and Gidget produced canvases under strict time constraints. Artists were allotted one hour in each of two rounds.
