SCHENECTADY – The city and the county development authority approved plans for a five-generation, family supply company to expand.
Chas G. Burch Supply Company at 773 Albany St. will add 4,200 square feet of building space in an adjacent lot that was cleaned by the Schenectady County Metroplex Development Authority, the authority said in a statement.
The kitchen, bath, and plumbing supply company’s expansion was approved by both the City Planning Commission and Metroplex’s board of directors Wednesday.
A $460,000 investment, the building expansion is the latest in a series of investments in Hamilton Hill in recent years along Albany and Craig streets.
