The South Korean culture ministry announced on Saturday that it has received a petition calling for an investigation into alleged chart rigging practices and blackmail targeting the BTS agency in 2017. The case will be forwarded to the Korea Creative Content Agency (Kocca), a government-run body tasked with managing different aspects of popular culture in Korea. Kocca will undertake a thorough investigation and request a response from HYBE.
