Brewery Square celebrates 13th birthday with live music

LIVE music and entertainment will be on display as Brewery Square celebrates its 13th birthday. Dorchester s shopping and food outlet is welcoming a range of free entertainment on August 14 including a Punch and Judy show and performances by Dorchester Ballet and a string quartet. The square will be embrace a seaside theme and will be kitted out with deckchairs for the event which will last from midday until 8pm. Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square, said: We re celebrating local talent at its finest for our birthday event this year, hosting a range of entertainment for all ages. We re looking forward to bringing even more summer fun to Brewery Square with the performances and giving shoppers an even more memorable experience when they come to visit.

Brewery Square kicks off summer holidays with live music

DORCHESTER’S main square is celebrating the British summertime by hosting a beach-themed event, with a range of activities including live music and a caricaturist. The event at Brewery Square will take place on Sunday August 1, between midday and 4pm will host live music, including performances Molly Waters and Will, accordionist John Slater, and Ansell & Gretel. Caricature artist Kevin Rye from Rye Smile Caricatures will be at hand to entertain visitors with real-time quirky portraits. Guests will also be able to play a range of games, cool down with ice creams and kick back in Brewery Square’s staple giant deck chair.
