Public’s Assistance Requested in Crash Investigation Following Street Race 5/18/2021
Charlotte, N.C. – (Tuesday, May 18, 2021) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Department s Major Crash Investigation Unit are requesting the public s assistance in locating Aaron Hall Duncan, DOB: 01/11/1992, who is wanted for his involvement in this incident.
Shortly before 2:15 a.m., on May 16, 2021, North Tryon Division Officers responded to the 6800 block of North Tryon Street in reference to a call for service regarding a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers located a 2009 Dodge Challenger in the roadway with substantial damage. The driver of the Dodge Challenger, Maurice Xavier Kelly, DOB: 03/16/1997, was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries in another vehicle.
