Updated: A Winter Weather Advisory is in Effect for Monday Morning
A pleasant Sunday is on tap for the Coulee Region ahead of our next big weather maker. Expect highs on Sunday to be a little bit cooler, generally in the low 50s, with more cloud cover and breezy conditions. Winds will pick up out of the east a 10-20 mph by the afternoon.
As we work into the overnight hours, cloudy skies will be the rule, and will lead to some light snow well after midnight for areas to the southwest of La Crosse. Expect light snow, potentially mixed with rain, across most of the Coulee Region, with the exception of areas north of I-94 by mid morning on Monday. Expect snow totals in the La Crosse area to be in the 1-3 inch range, with slightly more possible to the southwest.
