A local middle school teacher prepped choir students for singing amid a global pandemic earlier in the school year.
Megan Monteith, Area Specialist in Health Disparities Southwest Area, said her husband, Mark, is the Duncan Middle Schoolâs vocal music director and has taken the pandemic seriously from day one.
With several students in his program, Monteith has continued to find the best and safest ways for his students to still sing at performances.
âHe worked with a retired family and consumer sciences teacher from this county to create 150 specially made singerâs masks for his students,â Megan Monteith said.
