A policeman broke an innocent black father s leg in front of his sons as they dropped flowers off at their mother s grave.
In what a judge yesterday called a clear case of racial profiling , PC Charlie Harrison kicked Carl Abrahams in the knee, causing a fracture that left him on crutches for three months.
Mr Abrahams would not have been approached had he been white, the judge said.
The father, in his 40s, said his teenage boys remain scared of police and fear they will be targeted because of the colour of their skin.
PC Harrison was charged with GBH in August 2019 after an investigation by officers from the Directorate of Professional Standards

Emily and her beloved nephew Izaiah THE grief stricken family of a 22-year-old woman who died on Boxing Day after suffering an asthma attack are looking to give her the send off she deserves. Emily Boulton from Parr lived with one and a half working lungs, and had suffered with asthma all of her life. However after suffering issues with her home, her asthma attacks were becoming more frequent. On December 17, after another of these attacks, Emily, a warehouse operative, went into a cardiac arrest. Paramedics restarted her heart, but she had been without oxygen for 25 minutes. After that she was put into a medically induced coma for 10 days, before her family received the devastating call on Christmas Day, to say their goodbyes to Emily.
